SOLAR SYSTEM NOT GENERATING THE POWER IT ONCE WAS?

HAVE YOU HAD HAIL STONES HIT YOUR PROPERTY?

IS YOUR SOLAR SYSTEM 10+ YEARS OLD?

INVERTER NOT WORKING OR DISPLAYING AN ERROR CODE?

Is your solar system operating correctly or at all?

SOLAR SYSTEM INSPECTION

99.99% of solar systems don’t have any moving parts, therefore the common misconception is that solar systems require no maintenance. Solar inverters should be checked for operation once a month and the solar panels visually checked annually. The location of the system and angle of the roof will determine how regularly panels should be cleaned, but as a guide, once a year should be sufficient.

We perform a full inspection of your solar system which includes inspecting and testing of the inverter, solar panels and DC isolators. Our findings, including any faults or damages, will be compiled into a comprehensive digital report.

ISSUES WE MAY FIND

The five most common issues we find during a solar inspection are:

> Loss of a PV array string
> Inverter not working or displaying an error code
> Burnt, faulty or water ingress in AC/DC isolators
> Broken glass on the solar panels
> Discolouration on the solar panel module surface

MONEY IN YOUR POCKET

Our solar inspection will pick up any issues or faults with the solar system and bring them to your attention, to prevent any decrease in power output or full loss of power feed in back to the grid.

A decrease or full loss of solar power generation can unknowingly increase your electricity bills, costing you more money.

PEACE OF MIND

Once the solar system has been inspected we will provide you with an extensive report on your system and our findings. The report is detailed with test results, photos, defects/damage and an overview on your system.

The solar report will be issued to you via email within 48 hours of completing the onsite inspection.

Solar Panel Thermal Imaging

Thermal imaging is non invasive and allows our electricians to identify any hot spots in your solar system, which can affect the performance of the system and identify any potential fire risks. Usually we recommend thermal imaging of your solar panels if your home has been hit by significant sized hail stones, which can cause micro fractures and discolouration to the panel module surface.

Should you require thermal imaging of your panels or any parts of system, this can be added to our solar inspection. Talk to the team at time of booking the inspection for further details.

1
CONTACT

Once we receive your request we may contact you for additional information of your systems such: approximate size of system, location etc. We will provide you with a quote based on the information you provide.

2
BOOKING

Solar systems need sunlight to work so therefore, in order to conduct a thorough test on the system, it’s critical for us to attend your property when there is sufficient light. Due to the nature of panels being located on roofs, we are unable to perform solar inspections during inclement weather. Once we find a suitable day and time to attend site our team will contact you to confirm the inspection.

3
INSPECTION

Our team will arrive on the day and carry out the solar inspection. Upon completion of the solar inspection, immediate payment is required via credit card through our ServiceM8 app or over the phone via our admin staff.

4
DETAILED SOLAR REPORT

All our findings of the solar system are compiled into a full PDF report, which will be sent to you via email. This report varies in size but is usually 8-20 pages in length, including photos, test results and information on your solar system.
